Edmon Avetisyan made his Commonwealth Games debut on the Gold Coast.

Edmon, from Bristol, joined the other weightlifters in Team England’s squad to compete at the Carrara Sports and Leisure Centre in the men's 94 kg category. 

He is coached by Dave Sawyer at Bristol Barbell Club.
