Evie Smith made her senior debut at the Commonwealth Games last summer, finishing 10th following steady progress at youth level.

She previously finished third in the 3m springboard at the British Championships in May and will use the European Junior Championships to gain vital experience ahead of a home Games.

Smith’s father Neil is a former professional footballer and current manager of non-league Cray Wanderers.
