Jordan Houlden

Jordan Houlden continued his staggering rise in diving with two medals at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Then 24, Houlden won silver in the 3 metre springboard and bronze in the 1 metre springboard but he was not always a fan of the water.

Aged nine, he refused to jump into the water on the first day of a diving taster camp in Sheffield as he was unable to swim.

He backed up his two Commonwealth Games medals with European Aquatics Championship silver in Rome last August.
