Marcus Ellis

One of the most successful English shuttlers of the modern era, Olympic bronze medallist Marcus Ellis added Commonwealth silver in Birmingham to his collection.

Alongside Lauren Smith, he won silver in the mixed doubles, his fourth Commonwealth Games medal.

Ellis and Smith also scooped Commonwealth silver on the Gold Coast in 2018 and he took gold with Chris Langridge in men’s doubles in the same year.

Also with Langridge, he won Great Britain’s first Olympic badminton medal in 12 years with men’s doubles bronze at Rio 2016.
