A ten-time British Champion, Metzger secured Commonwealth bronze at Birmingham 2022 with a personal best jump of 14.37m.

The triple jumper won bronze at the 2017 European U20 Championships in Grosseto, while she also won the British Athletic Championships that year.

Sporting success runs in Naomi Metzger’s family, with brother Nathanael Ogbeta a promising young footballer for Swansea and England U20.
