Parag Patel won his fourth Commonwealth Games gold at his fourth Games on the Gold Coast. He won gold in the Queen's Prize pairs, and bronze in the Queen's Prize individual.

Parag also won gold and bronze at Glasgow in 2014, gold and bronze at Delhi in 2010 and gold and silver at Melbourne in 2006.

His eight Commonwealth medals, four of them gold, make him one of the most decorated Team England athletes.

Shooting will make a return to the Commonwealth Games when the sport features at the Victoria 2026 Commonwealth Games, with the sport being based in the Gippsland regional Village.
