Richard Chiassaro made his Commonwealth Games debut on the Gold Coast.

Richard, from Harlow, joined the other athletes in Team England’s athletics squad to compete at the Carrara Stadium in the T54 1500m. He set a Games record in qualifying with 3:05.76 in the heats but unfortunately after a puncture in the final, placed in eighth.
