Sean Vendy

Born in the Orkney Islands, Vendy first started playing badminton there before moving to England at the age of seven.

He won national titles at every age group and partnered with Ben Lane through the junior ranks and all the way to the Olympics.

The pair’s top-level career caught fire in 2021 and they won the Orleans Masters that year, propelling them to an Olympic debut in Tokyo.

And Vendy and Lane would ultimately claim Commonwealth Games silver in Birmingham.
