Sue Wherry competed at Birmingham 2022 as a para-lawn bowls director and won gold with Alison Yearling in the pairs event alongside Mark Wherry and Chris Turnbull.
Sue and her grandson Mark were also part of the Gold Coast 2018 team.
They joined the other 16 athletes in Team England’s lawn bowls squad to compete at Leamington Spa.

It was a hugely successful campaign at Leamington Spa’s Victoria Park and some thrilling games saw Team England leave the plush lawn with six medals including two gold, two silver and two bronze.
